Audible illusions Modulus 3A or Klyne 6L

If it is of concern to you, be aware that the Modulus is unfortunately known to be a tube eater.

I can't comment on system synergy, but I can say that the Klyne preamps are beautifully made, and the sound is also beautifully balanced without harshness, similar in my mind to the better Jeff Rowland models of the past.

Or, make an offer on the Hovland HP-100 that is for sale on Audiogon... I'd say that it is 'better' than both the Modulas or Klyne.... IMHO...
