I don't have any experience with the Quicksilver amps but owned a Superamp wired in triode for several years and absolutely loved it. It's one of those pieces I really regret selling. I did so because I needed more than 15 watts for my speakers, or thought I did, but I wish I still had it.
It was dead quiet, beautifully built and sounded terrific with a wide range of output tubes. I used EL34, 5881, 6550, KT66, KT88 and KT77's in it and they all sounded great. Different, but great.
The auto-bias feature is very nice if you like to experiment with different tubes.
I've heard very good things about the Quicksilver, as well, but I don't think you can go wrong with an AE-25.
