Preamp Deal of the Century

If anyone is looking for a true "World Class" preamp at a very fair price..heed my advice. I just recieved a Supratek Syrah preamp that was hand built by Mick Maloney in Western Australia, and it is absolutely beautiful! This preamp is the best deal you will ever find. I would put it up against any preamp out there for both looks and sound. Price? $2500 for the Syrah (includes Killer Phono stage). Not into phono? Try the Chardonney line stage for $2100. Don't get me wrong, I am not associated with this company. I am just a very happy owner! This preamp is VERY dynamic, yet liquid. I've got a 1 m length Revelation Audio Labs CryoSilver Reference umbilical power cable for my Chardonnay which is now unfortunately too short for my new rack. Last I heard 1 m for this is now $269.

Mine's in perfect condition, used only for the last 6 months. I'm going to get a longer one. Asking for $199 obo.

Did you have a chance to make a direct comparison against Supratek? How does Dodd compare in the area of dynamics, one of the Supratek's strong suites?

Hello Slowhand the Dodd is a linestage only ,and
because it is pure Dc coupled the Dynamics too are outstanding Hifidelityaudiogave me a money back guarantee
if I was not happy after 45 days which was plenty of time to run it in .I was serious when I said nothing in the $7k range or under topped it for overall naturalmness and musicality.
My freinds big Cary was over $8kand is no where near as clear.

I think one of the Supratek owners, posting in this thread, purchased Dodd to compare it with Supratek, and Dodd was up for sale in about a week.
