How to set Sutherland 20/20 phono stage?

I am not sure how to set my new phono stage when it arrives. I have a Dynavector DV-20X2 high output MC cart.
I know the Sutherland has internal settings for gain and impedance but I am not sure how these would apply to this cart.
Any help would be great. Thanks.

For the DV-20X2 high output MC cartridge, you should set the gain to the MM setting (high output MCs require the same gain as MMs) and the load impedance to 47K ohms. Then sit back and enjoy the tunes!

Thanks Bill. It actually has a few gain settings in it. Can I just use my ears to get it right?

The 40dB gain setting should be correct, but you could also try 46dB. Looks like the appropriate loading is actually 47.5K ohms on this unit.
