Just married off my daughter over the weekend! I used "Love and Happiness" by EmmyLou Harris off the "All the Road Running" cd by Mark Knofler. Beautiful song about your wishes for your children.
I knew I could count on you guys. Thanks you've been a big help. I'm not sure of the final final choice yet but I'm leaning towards the Prentenders "I'll stand By You", Fleetwood Mac "Landslide". I still have to check out some of these other suggestions. Thanks again to all. Scott
You might want to check out the song "Daughter" by Peter Blegvad. It's probably best known in the version performed by Loudon Wainright III at the end of the movie "Knocked Up". I think you'll find the lyric moving and it is certainly appropriate for that dance.
