The Beasties don't get nearly enough credit amongst serious music fans for their many innovations and dynamic creativity

R.I.P. MCA. He will be missed. I'm really saddened by this. I've always enjoyed the Beastie Boys music through the years. One of my favorites is MCA's bass playing on Sabotage.

The beasties were an huge influence on my youth. Sooooooo many good times. Hard to name a favorite but it would have to be Paul's boutique. That's the album that really opened my eyes to how innovative and unique they were. I think it's also the album that separated the mainstream from the true fans. Rest in peace Adam.
