I'm with Chadnliz, "Hurt" really does it for me. A haunting song, even moreso after seeing the video.

First heard Cash in the mid 60's when my best friends father used to play his records all the time. Became a big fan myself- agree with Steelhead, there is just something about "Personal Jesus"...and it has nothing to do with religion.

i really like his covers of tom waits "down there by the train" and danzig's "13"

of his own, rowboat is a great track, as is cocaine blues and sunday morning...
