| Hum noise. I beleive what ncarve was trying to elplane is that if you use a 75 ohm to 300ohm adapter and back again (75>300>75) it will break your ground loop and eliminate the hum. | |

| Incorrect speaker cable connection can damage amp? No, you didn't damage you amp. Unless you have a connection from b+ to b- (between the positive to the negative) no current can flow, hence the lack of sound.Thus, it can have no effect on your amp.Damon |
