As good or better than Magnepan 3.7i Goldenear Triton Reference. They give you back what might be missing at a reasonable price.
BEST SPEAKER THAT COMES TO LIFE AT LOW LISTENING LEVELS Your 11a are not the problem in my opinion. Maybe headphones would serve you well.
After 20 years, in the market for a power amp I own the Triton Reference and find them amp friendly. I have used McIntosh 452 and Michi X5 integrated. both made excellent music. The PrimaLuna amps are great too. Parasound Halo is a great choice too. The JC 1 is probably one of the best amps e...
The HARD ROCK & HEAVY METAL Thread Continued Sabbath and Maiden are a great place to start for metal. It all comes off those branches for me. Slayer sound great on an audiophile system.
GoldenEar Titon Reference Speakers I can only add that I just bought my second pair of Triton References recently. I sold my first pair a few years ago because I had an opportunity to buy a pair of Dynaudio Evidence Temptations. The problem is that they didn’t succeed completely in...
Enough is Enough Your system looks incredible to me. I gravitate to dealers that compliment what I have already. Insulting a customer in any way is foolish.
JA Pulsars vs Harbeth 30.2 You should get some floorstanding speakers if MORE bass is one of the goals. 2 subwoofers with the speakers you own might also solve what you think you are missing.
Magnepans VS MartinLogan for detail and sound staging I own some LRS+ but I think the ESL Martin Logans are on a different level. My local dealer has both and I have heard almost all the bigger models and ML wins easily for me. Quite a bit more cash though. I have owned the Peachtree 300 and loved it...
Audiogon seller's question We are at a stalemate because as a buyer I will never do Paypal Friends and Family. I can see all your past sales and believe you are PROBABLY legit but no way am I paying that way. For speakers I generally would like a local sale so I can hear th...
Looking for a great front ported bookshelp speaker recommendation Buy some SVS powered bookshelf speakers. They are good speakers. No sense in spending 5K if you have to shove them in a cabinet.
Experienced Maggie Lovers Please Advise I own LRS+ and I have heard 3.7i, 2.7x,2.7i and 1.7i. I like them all very much. Martin Logan 11a sounded better to me in the same spot. More money. I listen to mostly rock music though. the extra bass was palpable. I could easily live with the 3....
Non-fatiguing speakers in $10K range? Dynaudio fits your description of what you want. The higher models.
YG Acoustics Peaks I heard then at AXPONA and thought they were excellent.
Oppo 205 with Parasound JC-1s I would try the JC 1s with the Kef. I bet that would be excellent too.
Looking for the next level in imaging... Kef Blade is a very solid choice for imaging at the price point. It is not critical to be in the sweet spot although it does that well also. |
