Purple makes me.............. Oh, nevermind.
The New Synergistic Research Purple Fuses
The Purple really opens up the mids and highs compared to SR’s Orange fuses. The Orange fuses were a huge improvement over stock fuses, and the Purple brings even more to the table. M2CW, anyway.

A simple Rocker/Recliner works for me.
Adding a “safe haven” forum for discussion of tweaks?
I think it's going to be OK.
If a " system " cannot do this, I move on........
@mrdecibel , I believe I follow your train of thought. I am an acoutsic guitar player and listen to a lot of singer/songwriter type of music. The recording is essential. The music should sound like the performer is in my room. It should sound lik...
Ridiculous assertions that someone is being ripped off or conned
You all would be surprised (or maybe not) at the rude, ignorant messages I've received regarding my post above from a certain member on here. Flat-earthers gonna flat, I guess. Pretty pathetic, actually.
Ridiculous assertions that someone is being ripped off or conned
At this point, I think we all know who the flat-earthers are on here.... Shouldn't give them the right to be rude, but apparently this forum doesn't really care.
A move has me thinking of a CD changer....?
"Hi, I think I want a CD changer, because I have a lot of CDs. Any recommendations?""Rip them all to a server.""But I don't want a music server, and I don't like streaming.""You should stream your music and rip all your CDs to a server."Typical he...
A move has me thinking of a CD changer....?
You can pick up a Sony ES 5 CD changer for dirt cheap on any of the auction sites.Feel free to IM me as I have several and have been using them for years. Some models were better than others. If you're using an external DAC, you're golden.I'm not g...
Telling musicians to evaluate and choose their instruments in a “scientific” way?
Tone is in your fingers. And your cables. And your fuses. And your amp. And your microphone. And the room conditions. And your equipment. And the stability of the power, cords and connections. And what media your using.....As a guitar player mysel...
XLR or RCA cables?
I use a couple of different CD players (one with XLRs, (fully balanced), and a few with RCA outputs only.I get much louder volume out of the balanced XLR connection player than the RCA connection players when they’re hooked up to my preamp. (I cou...
Synergistic Research HFT's
I have 10 HFTs around the room, as well as some acoustic panels. They both work as advertised. With the HFT's, what I find to be very interesting, is that you can tell (hear) a difference just by experimenting with their placement, to within a few i...
Rogers LS3/5A Need Help
I'd hold on to those.....That's a pretty simple fix.You should be able to get anyone who is the least bit competent to fix you up.Probably take all of 2 or 3 hours to disassemble, install new binding posts, and reassemble.I never heard of anyone p...
Fuses
I don't understand it, therefore it can't be true, therefore I refuse to try it.Think I got it, @tsushima1 Your argument would be better served if you actually had any experience with the subject at hand.Come back after you've tried a couple of fu...
Fuses
" Fuses themselves do NOT affect sound."Oh yes, they most certainly do.If you can't hear a difference, there are probably several reasons for that.First would probably be because you've never tried one.Do you think thousands and thousands of audi...
