Legacy Signature SE for 2 Channel
Make sure you allow for a couple hundred hours of break in with them. The sound changes significantly for the better during this time IME. I am not sure who is referring to them as home theater speakers, Legacy lists them as left/right mains on th...
Legacy Signature SE for 2 Channel
Not exactly. However, I did have Classic HDs and Focus SEs in a room nearly the same size as yours (12 x 15.5 x 8). The Classic HD worked pretty well, but I was looking for more and switched to the Focus SE. It ended up being too much speaker for ...
Your last concert was to see who and when?
Joe Bonamassa last night at the Stranahan Theater in Toledo. He had a very interesting 50 minute acoustic set followed by a 90 minute electric set. I actually preferred the acoustic set, though the entire show was very, very good.

Got big amp-help with 20A line and receptacle
As any farmer will tell you, "You need to be able to separate the wheat from the chaff." I am sure that Krell can be trusted to tell any end user what their local electrical code says (sarcasm intended). LOL! You can't really be that goofy, can yo...
Got big amp-help with 20A line and receptacle
To the op and others considering doing this, please follow the advice of Jea48 and make sure that you follow electrical code in your area. Re read all of his posts and read the links. Great info. You seem to be doing the correct investigating befo...
Review: Intuitive Design/Pitcher Sound Labs Summit PSL 624 Speaker
I too must agree that Dale Pitcher rocks. Having previously owned the Summits and commenting on this thread, I found that an update is needed. I eventually sold the Summits as for my taste, they were limited in upper SPL output. I have gone throug...
Anyone using velodyne hgs -10 subwoofer.
I owned one for just over a year and found it to be a nice subwoofer for a small room system. Solid bass to the mid 20's with generous output. It will not move your foundation, but provided you are not listening at levels much over 100 db, it is a...
Taralabs cables
What in the world could possibly make a customer think that they can speak for a manufacturer and tell another customer what said company is going to do for them? Tara certainly didn't seem to be thrilled to have to post on this forum to correct t...

Need to Downsize: Small Speaker Recommendation
Jaxwired, just wondering about your reaction to Green Mountain Audio speakers above. I have been considering a pair for my room. I have never heard them, but have liked the time and phase coherent speakers I have heard and thought they would be wo...
NY Audio Show September 26th to September 28th
The word is idol, you genius. Keep lobbing the softballs up there. Sorry again everyone, but I couldn't let that one go, too easy.
NY Audio Show September 26th to September 28th
To the OP and others, sorry for derailing this thread. Please, go to, support and enjoy the show. Regional audio shows are becoming one of the very few ways to hear/audition gear that many would never get the chance to. I heard the Spatial speaker...
NY Audio Show September 26th to September 28th
You are again wrong. Many of your derogatory and insulting posts are made on your very first post in a thread, and not in response to anyone else. Your distorted view of your own self importance is hilarious. I don't go back and read your old post...
