Best dac under $2500 - comparing build quality and technologies
love my Denafrips.  Super clear, detailed and yet not overly analytical.  it has a warmth to it and helps create an amazing sound stage
Favorite obsolete formats.....
TDK SA 90s and if i wanted to splurge a Chromium Cassette tape.  $6 bucks a pop for 45 minutes of music each side.  I swear some of my greatest listening experiences were with those cassette tapes.
Best Bang for your Buck DAC ?
I'm enjoying my Denafrips Ares II for $750.00.  It is not overly clinical, has a great sound stage and a small footrprint.  I  have it paired to a Mcintosh MC 275 Amp.  there seems to be good synergy with tube amps

How many people here generally buy used?

Another streaming newbie
