| Does anyone out there NOT hear a difference in CD I'm using a classe ca 300 power-amp and a Rogue Metis tube pre-amp. I also have Usher 6371 floorstanding speakers. | |
| Rogue Metis pre amp UPDATE: I received a new pre from Rogue and have to say I'm very impressed. As assumed, it isn't the most quiet unit in the world but it does sound very, very good. Customer service is top notch too. | |

| pre-amp unacceptable noise level? UPDATE: when I switch out to my old preamp the same type of noise is still there, just much quieter. You can hear it maybe up to 1ft. away from the speaker. It seems as if this amp is just accentuating the noise to an obnoxious degree. | |

| Rogue Metis pre amp I'll be pairing it with a Classe CA-300 power amp and Usher 6381's. I'm replacing a Classe cp-35, which is about 20 years old. I'm assuming it can't be any noisier than that one. |
