for those who popped for "Hi-Fi Tuning" fuses... Hi Triode- I've only ever used them in my JoLida 502B. I was suprised to hear an improvement - more detail & spaciousness, I'd say. I really didn't expect to be able to hear a change. Didn't think my system or ears were "resolving" enough. But...
Non classical piano based music recommendaiton W.A.Mathieu (Windham Hill artist)Thelonius Monk - Straight No Chaser. There is something about this recording that keeps me going back, over and over. Very different style than Bill Evans and a nice "counter point" to Bill's lyricism, I think.Lyle...

Tube hiss - any idea what's causing it? Herman - I definitely had "hiss"...constant very low level background noise in L channel as I recall. Could really only hear it when the volume was cranked all the way up with nothing playing. It was noticeable however as previously the JoLida had...
Tube hiss - any idea what's causing it? Try moving them around. I had some hissing and rotated all - Power and Pre-amp tubes, Left to Right. Checked bias and adjusted as needed. The hissing went away. Thought in my case it might have been an oxidized connection that changing out "fixed"...
How many hours weekly do you listen to your system Listen to music way more than watch TV. My wife tends to monopolize the remote (talk about role reversal) and favors "design" and "real estate" shows...interesting to me in limited doses. Listen 5-10 hrs during the week. Another 5 or so on weekend...
Be nice to nOobs David - Welcome. I'm relatively new to Audiogon myself.Don't be put off by the lack of response. I've encountered this on a very few occasions. Mainly folks have been prompt and gracious in their replies. Even when following up with an emailed que...

What are the treasures in your vinyl library? Hey - Johnny...might have mis-interpreted your initial post. I have no idea the monetary value of the discs I listed. Probably have some things that are worth more. But these are "treasures" to me.
