New TEO Audio ICs, who has them? teo vs cerious....anyone done the comparison?
Mapleshade Isolation: Does Nothing? Maple shade did nothing for my system. On top of that, it scratches very easy, and the varnish has worn off in spots. The finishing is amateur! Don't waste your money.
NEW Cerious Technologies Upgrade - Graphene Matrix Cables ^I guess I'm getting price fatigued.
NEW Cerious Technologies Upgrade - Graphene Matrix Cables So the new graphene matrix (1m) costs $1449 (XLR), while the original graphene extreme (1m) costs $349. That is one hell of a price jump! Like 4 TIMES AS MUCH! There is no way, NO WAY, the performance can be 4 times as good as the original.
Frequency Response I am considering Tannoys93 d/b sensitivity, frequency range of 29hz-22khz @ 6d/bPS....After a lot of research I have never heard the term linearity until this post.
Frequency Response I also realize that my original post wasn't the best....but I can't go back and edit it. Also to some of you, I think you need to cut a little slack. You're right I don't know as much as you about this stuff....that's why I'm here.
Frequency Response OK folks, let me back up a bit. I'm trying to get a sense of certain sets of speakers (I don't have the luxury of going and listening to a lot). My old speakers, which were floorstanders, had a range of 38hz-20khz (good, average???). So as I;m spe...
Frequency Response Sorry....speakers
What is the best amplifier for Tannoy Kensington ? I notice the Kensington frequency range is 29Hz - to 22 khz. Doesn't the 22 khz seem quite low? Any Kensington users find them lacking top end?
What is the best amplifier for Tannoy Kensington ? I don't have a Tannoy dealer anywhere nearby....I'm just going off of hearing them at Newport Beach....loved it.
Tannoy Differences I'd like to fit the Kensingtons into my budget.....
What is the best amplifier for Tannoy Kensington ? Looking at Kengsintons as well. Wondering how they will match up with my Pass XA60.5's (60 watts in to 8 ohms class A)
Tannoy vs Klipsch Thanks folks. Your responses have certainly taken Klipsch out of the equation. Still going to give Totem a listen, but probably going the Tannoy route. I would love to go up to the Kensingtons, but they are double the Turnberrys, and not a fan of ...
Tannoy Differences Not sure how much stok to put into these numbers, but from Tannoy they suggest:Kensington 50-225 wattsTurnberry 30-180 wattsGlenair 10 50-200wattsI would think with only having 60 watts, the Turnberry are my only choice.
Tannoy Differences I'm leaning towards the Turnberry, mostly because the Pass XA60.5 only puts out 60 watts into 8 ohm speakers, which might not be enough for the Kensington (and double the price). I also have a feeling the DC (Definition series) are made in china, ... |
