Integrated Amplifier Recommendations Needed
The Yamaha A-S2100 recommended by @helomech is a solid candidate. The Yamaha integrated has a very quiet and excellent phono stage if you run a turntable. No built in DAC if you want/need that feature.

If my Kenwood KD decks can't be repaired?
My first turntable was a Kenwood, it ran like a champ until I sold it (wish I still had it for nostalgia sake). One of the Technics turntables would be an obvious and very solid choice. With a bit of looking around, you could quite probably find ...

Amp & Pre or Integrated for Dynaudio Heritage Special
I auditioned the Heritage Special and Contour 20i. I went with the Contours; I did very slightly prefer the HS speakers, but it was close enough that I opted to save the difference in money. I power them with an integrated amp that many will consi...

+3 on the B&W 804D3s. I owned a pair for about 18 months, but had to move to a smaller listening room. I didn't find them "bright", but almost any speaker can sound not their best in the wrong system. I currently run Dynaudio Contour 20i spea...

Onkyo has filed for bankruptcy
Late 80s I owned the Integra P304 & M504 combo driving JBL L100s in a all analog system. With classic rock, sounded good to my ears at the time. My tastes and knowledge have been refined quite a bit since, but I enjoyed the heck out of that sy...

I hear you on the weird channel on Jimi's vocals. I have experienced this on many LPs of the 60s and 70s. I'm able to kind of tune it out when the music being played is superior. Great day off of spinning vinyl: Pat Travers - Black Pearl Reece ...
Art Pepper fans out there?
All the LPs recorded by Roy DuNan have great sound quality.
Heard the Margo Timmons solo release?
We went to a show last month (have seen them many times), and her voice sounded as strong as ever.
Fear Inoculum in Vinyl
I'm with Yeti42 on this one... I would like to have the LP, but I'm not interested in all the etching and other add-ons.
