Help with high end bookshelf speakers
I'm so in love with Fritz's Carbon 7 Mk2 SE that's what I'd try to make work, but it really depends on your tastes.
Cornwall IV vs. Volti Rival, Razz; Razz v. 1, 2, 3 -- what changed?
  @silverfoxvtx1800  That's a really great quote -- which doesn't address the main issue. While it's great to see all the things Volti is improving over Klipsch, and people can decide for themselves about those differences (they seem significant...
A day in the life of an audiophile
@cdc Totally agree.  I don't think it's an audiophile thing, though. It has to do with the various technologies of this world trying to get and keep our attention. Some want to nag, some want to help, most want to advertise. Henry David Thoreau wa...

@mrdecibel either you or Volti are correct on this. YOU: The Klipsch Heritage series cabinets are made here, as are the pro and cinema lines. or Volti website: "The Klipsch Forte cabinet is made in China of material that is just a step above...

@james633 Thanks! I'll take a look. $16k is a healthy price tag. These are interesting, and $10k:  https://josephcrowe.com/products/speaker-system-no-2095
Cornwall IV vs. Volti Rival, Razz; Razz v. 1, 2, 3 -- what changed?
Never heard of Seneca. Interesting. A search on HiFi Shark reveal none for sale nor any in the expired sales. None on the used market.
Cornwall IV vs. Volti Rival, Razz; Razz v. 1, 2, 3 -- what changed?
@tds3371 My mistake -- I was looking at the OPTIONS page, on the Volti site. Oops. Much more expensive. Go upgrades!!!
So, a reviewer just said something I need to talk about.
The ability to hear the strings and body of the violin, for example, creates a conduit to hear the musician, to resonate with their intent and emotion. The better a system reproduces "sound" the more access I get to personality/feeling/intention. ...
Cornwall IV vs. Volti Rival, Razz; Razz v. 1, 2, 3 -- what changed?
@ozzy62  Both  vthokie83 doyle3433 reported they had.
Cornwall IV vs. Volti Rival, Razz; Razz v. 1, 2, 3 -- what changed?
It seems pretty confirmed that the CW's are great speakers if they are seriously modded. Thanks for the update about that. Some will see this as a great opportunity -- like buying a house with "good bones" and then making a dream house out of it. ...
