| Audible Illusions Modulus 3A troubles I have used Tungsram 6922 NOS tubes with Audible Illlusions preamps for close to 30 years and have never had a problem. They sound great. I do agree with previous poster that generally NOS tubes do not work well with AI preamps. | |

| Audible Illusions Modulus 3A troubles If it was just the phono section, it could be you are running a very low output moving coil cartridge. Unless it has the optional John Curl phono board, the regular Audible Illusions phono board does not have much gain. | |
