Standmounts - $1000-$1400 CAD range btw...the main reason i'm hesitant with the M12.2's is b/c I've heard that the predecessor, the M12, is superior to the 12.2.... don't know if that's true, as i've never compared one to the other.I HAVE listened to the M12 and liked it...Listened ...
Epos M12 Vs. M12.2 ok... Still trying to find out about M12 vs. M12.2 ...anyone compared the two?differences??
Adcom GFA 555 II too harsh for EPOS M12.2's? I'm curious to know about your Epos m12.2's.... do you think they better the M12's?please let me know
Is 200 watts too much for an NHT AudioCenter One? Ditto to what everyone else just posted. Run NHT's with clean power and they'll love it. Too LITTLE power is what'll REALLY destroy speakers.Just make sure that the drivers aren't bottoming out when being pushed hard.
NHT 3.3...any info? http://www.stereophile.com/loudspeakerreviews/1293nht/
classe cap 100 vs classe cap 151 Heard them both when looking long and hard for an integrated. Initially heard the CAP151, which was very good overall - nice, black background, spacious-sounding (good breadth and depth), fast, transparent...Next day listened to the CAP101 - the m...
dear lord, i need help... why don't you have a look at Epos M12.2? It's within your price range and it's a very good performer for the money. Also, it's a bit more efficient than its predecessor and supposedly has better bass than the earlier incarnation. Midrange is pheno...
Looking to Upgrade Amp & Preamp don't want to be long-winded here because you've already gotten very good advice, but I wanted to mention that a tubed preamp (or hybrid preamp) will work wonders for improving upon the 3.3's sound. In fact, it's my opinion that MOST NHT speakers ...
Blue Circle CS vs. Unison Unico Restock:in response to your question about what else I changed - I actually didn't change anything for the longest time...I just allowed the Unico to break in over a long period of time. It just seemed to get better and better. It was only when I ...
Blue Circle CS vs. Unison Unico by the way...this apparent 'lack of power' of the unico is complete nonsense... (just wanted to add that bit)
Blue Circle CS vs. Unison Unico here's the scoop. I was considering the CS at some point. It's a very good sounding integrated and, for the price, I would recommend it highly. The Unico, however, is without a doubt a level or two up in performance. It's much more 'liquid' or 'fl...
NHT 2.5i...your advice/input greatly appreciated If that price is in U.S. dollars, it's not bad (works out to just over 700 Canadian, which is what I got for mine last year - then again, I let mine go too cheap)In terms of overall performance, it really depends on what it is you're looking for. ...
NHT 2.5i...your advice/input greatly appreciated Hey there,I have tons of experience with NHT (been a 'fan' and owner of numerous models since the beginning). As far as powering these speakers, you should be more concerned about amperage than wattage. I had my 80 wpc Unico running them for a whi...
Need tube amp for Epos M12 not sure how old this thread is, but the M12's and the Unico are a good combination, no doubts. Mix and match cables for fine tuning and you're off to the races...
who lives where? Hey guys... as per Rcprince's response, I noticed the 'Where Are U' thread immediately AFTER my post. Still, it would be nice to hear who's close by. by the way, sorry for the poorly worded posts of late - been so busy my fingers move more quickly... |
