Martin Logan Dynamo 700 vs. REL T5 Allow me to tag on a related but seperate question rather than starting another thread. From my reading on the REL website, it appears that the intent of the REL products is to add to full range speakers (i.e. sub 40 Hz range). Should I have any co...
Martin Logan Dynamo 700 vs. REL T5 Sorry for the poorly written post, I wasn't in as much of a hurry as it might appear. To clarify, a single sub will be paired with Focal 807v large bookshelf speakers for stereo listening and also as the .1 for home theater. The Martin Logan Dynamo...
Why Not Return the Favor? The reason that I posted my system was so that people would have a tool to help me with my questions and possibly form an opinion of how much weight to give my opinions. It would be easy for me to pretend that my gear is much better than it is. I o...
Why Not Return the Favor? I've noted several members post many thank you's for the comments on their systems. While this clutters up the actual thread, it is the nice thing to do. I never considered that system comments were a quid pro quo (did I spell that right?) type of...

B&W at the Indy 500 Another interesting thing about open wheel vs. NASCAR is that while a NASCAR isn't as advanced with technology, there are a lot more changes to be made during a race to improve the cars handling. At Indy I saw a couple of wing adjustments, in Form...
B&W at the Indy 500 Part of the reason NASCAR has such a huge fan base is that it has always been a home grown sport compared to the world wide sport that Indy is. The old CART series was fun to watch, but ovals are only fun to watch when bumping is involved. The new...
Stereo Imaging This is exactly why I don't use a center channel for home theater. I really don't believe that it's necessary for a listening position between the main speakers. The other reason is that the matching center speaker was far to big to fit into any p...
how to connect two jl audio f110 with Mitsubishi Mamas1993 - I had actually pulled up the manual prior to my original response. You're certainly welcome to us a JL Audio subwoofer, but at least consider only using one.Consider this, have you ever heard a 2 watt single driver speaker that sounded...
Stupid Newbie Bass Question All blu-ray disk include standard DVD audio formats. You'll notice a huge improvement once you get equipment that will handle the HD formats. Also, an auto setup is a nice feature for the vast majority of people. |
