Pass Labs XA 60.5 to drive Dynaduio C4 I think you'll be OK with XA60.5's, your room isn't to much larger then mine.
Pass Labs XA 60.5 to drive Dynaduio C4 At 4 ohms you'll have 120 watts of solid class A power. My XA60.5's run my CLS IIz's fine and they have a 86db sensitivity. Room size would also be a consideration.
upgrading Pass x250 to Pass xa60.5 I just did this exact move and am loving the XA60.5s! Both amps do great with my CLS IIz's but the XA60.5s sound smoother, but still has authority! My room is 10' x 18'Good Luck!
Does my Pass amp dislike my Meridian preamp? From the information provided, I'd the say the problem is with the Meridian. I don't think the Pass would cause this issue.
American Folk/Bluegrass music to die for Also check out: Crooked Still, Sarah Jarosz, Punch Brothers and Carrie Rodriguez - Good stuff!
Maggie 20.1 and Marchand XM-44 I've owned the Marchand and currently own the Pass XVR-1. The Pass is an awesome piece with tons of flexibility. While I don't have Maggies, I am running ML CLS IIZ's and the Pass has been great integrating those with my JL sub.
Music you HATE the most but once you LOVED it Most of the music from the 60's, 70's and 80's, it's all old news now!
Crossover Pass XVR-1, great piece, occasionally for sale on Gon.
How many 'listen outside of the box' design? Yes, in my main system I also listen to electrostats. I do use a box speaker in another system, mainly for background music.
Crossovers, why so few options? Marchand Electronics has external crossovers
Atlanta Rhythm Section best album? Another vote for Champagne Jam
Buyers and Sellers ever Speak by Phone Anymore? I usually like to talk with the seller on big ticket items, over maybe $800 or so, just to make sure they don't flake out.
recommended Analog-to-Digital convertors? PS Audio Digital Link III $695 new, $500-$550 on Agon. Nice DAC!
Help with sub upgrade I'll vote for the JL Audio F112's. I have one in a stereo setup and it's accurate, fast, deep and built like a brick house. |
