Should I list all my classical CDs? Selling collections may prove not a good idea in the future. But if sold you will get some funds for more lp's.G
Whats on your turntable tonight? Massive Attack, Mezzanine.G
Brainstorm Thursday. Are we approaching the Audiophile Singularity? Even planting the best chip in our heads the brains would have different processing.G
Ready, set, comment! Speaker cables don’t make a difference? I do not want to know how Massive Attack will sound with zip chord.G
The Contour System – Directional Wiring of Audio Parts Nice job, that makes me think if same models sound identical when leaving factory.G
Zyx mistracking issue Sounds that suspension is not working as it should any more, had the same issue with Yatra 2.Tip was ok.G

How loud are you typically listening? Checked with one, seems 55 are average low normal listening levels and 83 average high. That represents 30-55 on preamp indicator volume scale (95 max) if it means anything.G

Borrowing equipment from dealers It is up to a dealer and what kind of relationship between the two. The thing is if you want to do it that way. Otherwise all above comments are valid.G
Mods which don't harm re-sale Only if changes or refurbishment were performed at the factory would be easier for a buyer to digest.Otherwise resale value will drop whatever the mod, successful or not.Tweaking that can be removed is different.G
What is the average life expectancy of a DAC? Working, for ever, sounding good, for ever, feature wise much shorter. But i suspect they would devaluate quicker than anything else. Of course there are exceptions for some keeping a good value and having only the very basic features.G
