| Transport needed ! Try to find a good used player made prior to 2000 with a good phillips or sony transport in it like a marantz cd 63 or 67 or an old sony but make sure they have a digital out to feed a dac. | |

Setting up the system correctly in your room and making sure your whole system gels with your kind of music is the most important part of your system. Also i would say playing good recordings is an essential part related to this. | |

| Phono cartridge torque wrench Some manufacturers recommend them but if you use one make sure you do not over tighten the screw because you can strip the threads pretty easy on those types of screws and most cartridge bodies. | |
