@jmfinney, I know it’s a unfair comparison, but as you’re the only person I’ve seen so far who’s used both a full Muon Pro chain and a SmoothLAN, I’d like to understand where and to what degree the Muon surpasses the SmoothLAN.

I spoke with Mat at AXPONA. The unipivot arms are not being phased out, however they are transitioning their tables to their gimbal arms.

Using a preamp, we feel Firmware fpga1_208_Antero or the first fpga1 228 Massive sound better. The new fpga1 233 Massive is clearer and can have more detail and a larger stage however for us just doesn’t sound as "real". Just a little thin soundi...

@dhungana, hmm. Have you tried DSD over DoP, or only Native? Also, do you have the RS130 set up with volume control enabled?

may not be a great pair with the RS130 all PCM design, considering I will not be able to do a direct DSD source to DAC @dhungana, I’m not sure if I’m reading this correctly. The RS130 does do native DSD out if configured to do so.

@dogberry, which SUT if you don’t mind my asking? I’m using the same cart while SS is looking at my Benz LP-S. I have it loaded at 825 Ohms with my XP-17 and I’m enjoying it very much.
