ADD HINGES to existing removable DUST COVER

I have the two arm plinth CL-P2 now, may end up with the 3 arm CL-P3 plinth.

Dust cover is big, heavy, 1/4" thick, must remove it, place it somewhere, back on each listening session, each time potential disaster, scuff marks will accumulate.

I am thinking of adding hinges, 3 probably, like this one has

Lift up/off hinges would be nice.

Good point Elliott. How about a system of pulleys so you can raise it straight up to the ceiling when your using the TT. Think the better half would approve? LOL BillWojo
