SUT help
Just as the OP said, SUT discussions are like drunken sailors, but remember, they get where they are going, usually.

are these issues always present on your support system? It is possible a combo of solidity and anti-vibration is needed. my final solution was adding isolation blocks between my heavy turntable and very stable equipment rack I was dealing with...
Does Every Track Sound Great on Your System?
IF your system is capable of sounding great on some tracks, bass/mids/highs and not others, it’s the fault of the recording, not your system. musicians, placement of musicians in a space, specific mics used for individual instruments/voices, prop...
Anyone listen to entire albums?
I was just laughing to myself about this. Went to change tracks yesterday, forgetting it was an LP. LP’s, usually all the way thru, and I definitely want the original order. I like extra tracks as long as they are added at the end (CD or LP). Re...
how to remove a woofer from b@w801n
Not familiar with the connectors or if soldered connections. IF you need to cut the wires, pick a spot that allows easy re-connect, and arm yourself with a connector set. Bullets allow connect/disconnect, and are a good way to add some extra wir...

I always prefer tubes, in the past units all were using 12aux, 12atx My current Cayin Integrated uses 6SN7 and 6SL7’s, I really like their sound. Based on their sound, 2 of my friends changed their Preamps to 6sl7/6sn7, both very happy with them....

I would buy a TT with the option of mounting your own arm, preferably the option to add a second arm. A good used one gives you buying options and saves money or gets you more for your budget. Original arm could be S arm with changeable head-she...
Ideal Qualities of a CD/SACD Transport
I would look for the least expensive model with DSD out from a reputable brand. I'm not sure, but I seem to recall that my old Sony xa5400es has two lasers, one for CD, one for SACD. That is a refinement I do not think all have. I could be wrong....
Best Cartridge you have heard on a Denon DP62-L turntable
I am suspecting that a slight adjustment of anti-skate would help the Empire do it's job.  hudson hifi alignment LP, other side blank for Anti-Skate adjustment Anti-Skate to ZERO, set tracking force. Last: anti-skate. I spin the platter by hand...
Best Cartridge you have heard on a Denon DP62-L turntable
I've never seen your TT but it looks like a winner. A straight fixed arm and an S arm with removable head-shell, that's a great combo. Do you have a budget? I have always liked Audio Technica Cartridges sound, and specs, especially wide channel ...
