Adding Tube preamp between DAC (Wadia) and SS Amp (Luxman 509u to make it sound "TUBEY"

HI Guys
I like JAzz and Classical, sometimes I think that maybe change to tube system, but I still do not want to sell the existing one as it is still good. Therefore, I have an idea of spending less money on "renovation" by adding Tube pre-amp between DAC (Wadia) and SS Amp (Luxman 509u) to make it sound more like "TUBEY",

do you think is it a good idea ? some people use tube buffer instead, what is your opinions on pros and cons
