Adelaide speakers

Any updates on this?

Just wanted to continue this thread. I ran across Adelaide speakers recently and am interested in the valve series V1093AQTL. They play down to 26hz and are 96 db efficient at 1w/1m. Tell me another speaker that does that for anywhere near the price?

I have these. They will not be for sale or replaced, ever. Note that they are measured to be down *2*dB at 26Hz.

While I can’t test them, I can verify that the reproduction of very low frequencies are not a limiting factor in any listening experience. That is an understatement.

I cannot speak for Edward of Aust Speakers, but the OP did say that he serves only the Australian market at this time where he is well known in the community - understand that they are pretty much individually handcrafted by him.

Wow, how did you get your hands on a pair? I think I would buy a pair from him sight unseen if he would ship them. I want to drive them with a tube integrated. Can you tell me what you’re using for an amp?

@falconquest  As the OP said, for his own reasons Edward has no desire to export to outside of Australia.  His over two decades of making speakers leads me to think that these reasons would have been considered.
