Anybody else notice...

I’ve been cracking up for years over the ubiquitous extraneous  “S” as cited in earlier posts:  Gears.

In my field of work, GE (General Electric) was a major player and was often referred to as GE’s by foreigners.   Not being derisive.  I fully understand that if I spoke a foreign language my butchering of it would provide much to laugh at.

Been going on for a months.  It seemed to happen when the forum banned some trouble makers.  We are all here to learn and enjoy our hobbies.  Thank you for the advise my ears appreciate it.

I can't fully agree with your point:

We are all here to learn...

Some are not. Some make threads unpleasant with their inability to allow others to share their experiences via additions and experimentation.

But I do join you in offering my gratitude to others for their knowledge and advice.
