I would invest in a whole house surge protector first. Plugging amps into power regulators is usually not the best way to get good sound-though I understand your situation down in Florida.

Audioquest Powerquest updates?
I noticed that there isn’t much information about these actually being used on this forum. Has anyone tried either one of them recently? And did you find them to be detrimental to the sound? I have been using a Panamax mr5100 and today I took my McIntosh MA5300 and plugged it directly into the wall as opposed to the Panamax and the difference was quite noticeable. But living in Florida, I’m not comfortable without some sort of protection and need to keep it below $400-$500.00, so I thought one of the Audioquest might be an option. Any first hand thoughts?
