Best Speaker Choice for Pass Labs X250.5,XP10?

I used a massive horn speaker with my x250 wonderful.

Thr reason I have done it backwards was the price I paid for the pass gear was insanely cheap. Room size 17x 18 feet, carpet flooring. I know speaker choice is personal, just was hoping for a good baseline to get me started with choosing a fine pair. Tight bass, smooth detailed tweeter, soft domes work best with me, my hearing really is geared toward the midrange.

You're doing it backwards. Start with speakers.

I doubt you'd ever find one the Pass didn't work with though.

Since you already have the amp, tell us about the room Size

You are doing it backwards, speaker choice should come first... but, we need to know the room size, where you can position the speakers in the room, what you listen to and volumes you like before we can even guess. What sonic attributes do you like? great bass? transparancy?

listening for yourself is always the best but maybe you can not get out or live far from a dealer, I do not know.

I suggest you buy amps for speakers rather than speakers for amps.

Tvad is right ........ We can't recommend what you'll like. I have both the X250.5 & XP-10. I love my Focal 1037be's and my two JL Audio F113's. It sounds superb to me but to some ........ it's not the best. You must listen with your own ears to end up happy with what you choose!
