Can I use my McComack TLC 1 with a headphone amp

I am hoping to use my preamp as a switcher for my headphone amp. Will this be a problem? I am sure any additional component will degrade the sound slightly but will it be dangerous?

You can use either of the main outputs which are volume-controlled, or you can use the Tape Out which is not affected by the volume control.
