CD PRO 2 install in a Northstar Player?

Does anyone know how hard it is to install a CD PRO 2 mechanism in a Northstar trasport? Looks like it would be a drop in replacement, but I am no expert. To be clear, I am talking about replacing with the same mechanism that came in the player to start with.
