Classe 25A amplifier

Thanks for all the responses. Unfortunately the amp may be too big to fit in my rack. I wish I had the space for it.

Hey all Classe lovers.... love my cap151 and cdp1.5 wonderful amp. Better system than anything new. Awesome phono section.

Question? looking for an RC12 and an RC9 remotes.... I am using a universal and all is fine but it would be awesome to have the originals.  Any ideals on where to look?

All good insights above. I would add that they are just a bit grainy. Not enough to disqualify them from consideration. Very popular with Thiel users. A real bargain on the used market. Recommended.

Many moons ago I used the model 15 (175 watts) with Vandersteen 3A speakers and enjoyed that combination very much. The Classe 15 was the same as the 25 (250 watts) with less power!!

It drove the low impedance Appogee Calipers very well when I was at that audio/video store!

Owned one, liked it, was at the center of one of my most musical, favorite, and low'ish cost systems....back in the day.

Excellent amp.  I was a Classe dealer back in the day and loved this amp.  Agree with George, dark, smooth, open, just a wonderfully musical amplifier.

The Classe DR25 was a nice amp, very powerfull, smooth but laid back (dark) sounding, not the last word in detail.
Don’t use it’s balanced inputs as they were just an opamp feeding a single ended input of the amp, you got better sound using the se rca inputs, which bypassed those opamps. It like to be biased high so the heatsinks were 50c after 1hr of idle.

If it is similar to the now-ancient DR25 I heard at a store driving a pair of Appogee Calipers (MFSL Led Zeppelin II LP) it is an excellent amp! If the price is right grab it!
