I have been looking to buy early versions of the Stealth Indras due to cost considerations (I have a wanted ad posted). I was wondering if anyone could explain the differences between the earlier versions and the latest? Bob
It was all in the connectors. The new ones are low conductivity and do make a big difference. The early ones were all "beta" versions sold at a lower cost.
I am not sure that all Indras without the titanium connectors would be classified as beta cables. Many were made with Cardas connectors before the Stealth connectors came along. These Cardas-RCA-based Indras perform mighty well in my system. I just wish I could get ahold of an XLR pair which is really what I need in place of the RCA pair. Anybody for a trade?
