Emm Labs DV2

Lalitk please let me know if you hear of a used n10 that becomes available. Can't swing it now  but perhaps in the near future. Do you play DSD files? Also do you have a NOS drive in your system or just the n10?

Well said Terrance. Accuracy of the music is what it's all about. The DV2 does exactly what you describe. If I want to look at a painting from an artist, I want to look at the original, not a copy from someone else.

@jakesnak, have you considered EMM NS1?

Joe I'm using the NS1 now, I'm able to do dsd, 24/192, its a solid streamer. I want to compare it to the Aurender n10 or w20. I have never listened to Aurender, just curious if the Aurender gear will clearly outshine the NS1.

@jakesnak, I'm in market for high end DAC.  Have you compare DV2 to DCS, MSB, Rockna ... ?    Plan to demo once Covid restrictions improves.

Hi Joe, I listened to MSB, Bricasti, Berkley, and I have a PS Audio Directstream. I became so impressed with this dac I became a dealer. Just submitted all the paperwork. I'm hoping to move a few units to friends who are audiophiles. Only dealing with a limited amount of high end gear. With this covid situation I thought it might be a interesting venture. I'm in NC, where are you located? If your near me I would be more than happy to give you a demo. If not contact a dealer that has a DV2. It's without a doubt one of the best dacs on the market today. John, I' m in NH.  Contact nearest dealer in CT but his store closed for auditions.   Just have to wait until stores open again.

Under the circumstances just be patient. It's worth taking your time. When you get the opportunity to hear one take note of all components. My monoblocks are Classe' CA M 600's, my system may sound even better with upgraded amps. Which is scary! I sent you my private contact info. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. Yeah.  That was a very late announcement of a financial interest in the product.  

The thing is that the product doesn't need testimonials from dealers - the reviews have been consistently stellar.

My Bad! I didn't realize this kind of response was inappropriate on the forum. If I recommend a product it's solely because I think its a good product. If I was promoting Emm I would have said the NS1 was great. I was asking about Aurender. Sorry if I over stepped. In the future I will make it clear. I sincerely apologize and now understand the conflict of interest that can be construed. John

No worries.  We've just had a couple of ridiculous people in the past and so everyone is now sensitive to it.  Based on my experience, it's a great brand (at the very least for digital - I haven't tried their amps) and wish you success.

Thanks man, their current amps are beasts. Too much power for my JA Pearl 20/20s.

^^^ I believe EMM Labs currently working on a stereo version of their flagship mono amps. It will be interesting to see what would be entry price point 

Bottom line, its a great Dac. Whether its the DA2 or the DV2. I'm using my DV2 with Gryphon Mephisto/Pandora Preamp and couldn't be more pleased. Would the DA2 with my rig sound any better? Maybe? I doubt with my back to the gear if one could accurately detect DV2/DA2 from the other.
