Expandable sleeving

My question is simple, what type of expandable sleeving is used for your higher grade cable manufacturers. Ie: Audioquest. It seems as though the sleeving I purchase from Amazon for DIY projects are far different in quality then what is used for in some the big cable names. Thoughts? Possible other sleeving manufacturers to consider?

Some have a version of expandable sleeve made for them, but most use a version of Techflex, they have many different options and I’m sure custom options as well.
I forgot Trojan.. they are pretty tough too.. :-) Pretty good armor..
You can get armor that is shrink fit too. Don't over do it..  They use it in air craft and places you have some vibration at times and a LOT at other times.. Heavy equipment, drilling equipment..

Granger, who else? Vendors like that. JC Whitney..

There is "Ballistic" armor too... I MEAN sticks and stones tough...ALL day long, for years..... 20+ K to armor up a drill rig with a top hammer.

That kind of armor.. Nice place to work ay? Tunnels are even more fun.:-)

Tunnel boring machines, and trench cutters.. BIG $$$ ARMOR...

Have you seen what you can get from Parts Express?? Maybe not exactly what you are looking for.

One thing I think is true though is that they don't use expandable sleeves as much as custom, made-to-fit sleeves.
