Florida HiFi Expo 2025

Just got back from 2 Days at the Florida HiFi Expo in Tampa… Good Times , What was not to like ?…Florida in in February, Audio Equipment, Great Tunes 👍 Met up with most of the YouTube Celebs, whether I agree with them or not, was cool meeting ‘em.
Anyway, before I voice my opinions and possibly influence where this post may end up, I was wondering if anyone else attended and what their thoughts were of their time at the show, then I’d chime in as well.

Thanks Scott, we had a great show and glad you and jplunkettj enjoyed my speakers.

Hope to see everyone again next year.

Enjoyed the show. Lot of great sound and some bad probably due to room acoustics. Hard to show off products in small hotel rooms. I also liked the soundfield - orchard room. The Chesky room with a $500 dollar speaker blew my mind. Lucca Chesky admirably standing with his product with a packed room. The Borresen Z5  were  excellent with robust room filling  sound.  VAC amps were everywhere. The monster size and dollar Estelon, Clarysis, Acora, Oneiros, had everyone in full amazement.  The Perlisten Room had the best dynamics and resolution.. I ended up working out a deal for their top of the line s7t limited edition.

I ended up purchasing Soundfield speakers after attending last year’s show and still blown away every time I listen to my rig.
I too dug the the Borrsesn’s, esp for the price point, but their top of the line floorstanders they were showing were absolutely amazing, but at $55k a pair I wouldn’t expect anything less.
The Aretai Horn Bookshelves were a favorite, looks and soundwise. Loved the Gershman Black Swans they ALWAYS impress($95k a pair), Joseph Audio is always incredibly as well. I thought the New Vienna Acoustics 2.5 Floorsatanders sounded fantastic. Most of the rooms sounded great but there were a few I just had to turn around and walk out of, not many but a few. This year I saw a lot of great amps and noticed the industry’s shift away from separates with the many cool integrated 2ch all in ones on display.
Just so you know, Soundfield Audio’s speakers are not as much as you think and sound better than many that were on display and highly recommend anyone looking for speakers give them a serious consideration. I made it a point to stop by Soundfield’s Room to let AJ the owner know I’m still ecstatic owning a pair of his speakers, also let him know his room was without a doubt one of if not the best sounding room at the show and his response to me was he was being told that all day… I’m happy for him 👍

@skiznfliz I attended as well.

Loved the Soundfield  line array speakers. I was afraid to ask what they cost for fear i would justify getting them.

Also really loved the Soundfield speakers paired with the Orchard Audio equipment.  The Audio mini monitor was only 1200 pr and the semi open baffle 12120B was only 7500 pr.  Maybe I should have asked for pricing on the line array.

Loved the Audio Norwegian Icon 12 speakers for their kick ass  tight sound.

The Tobian Sound System 12 FH? were spectacular.

The Borresen x1 and Axxess L1 were unbeatable for me at their price points.
