One of the drawbacks using ceramic fuses is lack of bass control.
You may try installing an 8" subwoofer placed on its' right side facing perpendicular to the long wall so it reflects tertirary bass waveforms back into the listening area. The effects will be clearly audible.
Audiofeil, Please note that you need be careful dispensing this particular remedy because -- as you know(probably!)--- the woofer should be on it's left side if the OP is south of the equator. Do please keep us posted !
