That mc cartridge will work fine on the Pioneer TT/arm. The arm has enough mass so resonance frequency will stay in the "acceptable" range.
Gold Note Donatello on vintage Pioneer TT
I recently purchased a refurbished Pioneer PL 518 TT. I am looking at a Good Note Donatello Gold MC cartridge to pair with my TT. I am also looking at the Gold Note PH5 phono stage. Both are new and can be had for $1400. Any thoughts on this combo are appreciated. Power is by Simaudio 340i integrated, speakers are Proac D20R’s.
