I don’t own Gold Note speakers, but have heard them on a few occasions, incl: their stand mounts. They sound smooth, quite detailed and well controlled. Build quality is excellent I thought and they look like attractive pieces of furniture. The key word about their sound is "smooth". They have a nice musical flow. If you mostly listen to jazz, blues, acoustic, folk, classical etc they would be a good choice. My overall impression is they punch well above their weight.
