The OP was going to check the wiring in the wall outlet box to see exactly what the electrician installed. He may just have installed a 10-2 with insulated ground MC (Metal Clad) aluminum armor cable. Then a regular outlet will work great.
FWIW an IG outlet and IG Equipment Grounding Conductor does nothing for the sound from an audio system in a residential dwelling unit like a house.
Its been found they really didn’t meet the hype in commercial facilities either.
