My friend is doing it and using two Loki' as pseudo crossovers. He has the lower 2 controls turned to min as a high pass to the upper crossover and drivers, and the other Loki has the 2 upper controls turned to min before going to the amp and lower side of his dual input speakers. He loves the sound and is able to tweak them for added refinements. He is using a tube amp for the uppers and a SS amp for the lower drivers. His speakers are bi-amp / bi-wireable and he does not bypass the speakers crossover. Strange, I know, but he likes it.
