Dave,
You are absolutely right on and thank you for taking time out of your day to look into this. I carefully read the Bass Mode section you pointed me to. This will probably work great for the Theater mode, albeit, I'll have some over lap between the Sub and the L-R (i.e. the Theateri drops sharply at 70hz and the Oddesseys at 35hz). If I'm reading this right though, I might be able to adjust down for Stereo mode and/or completely turn off the Sub in settings where response is more critical, which you are right, is going to be fun to play with.
My Oddesseys arrived today and I hooked them up to my Parasound theater system for a test drive (and to start the break in). They are extremely bright as advertised, but unbelievebly crystal clean. I played Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells and Michel Murray arrangement of Bach's Toccata & Fugue in D minor; simply unbelievable detail. I can't wait for the Mac to show up (and the bass to break-in on the MLs). This is going to be a lot of fun.
I'll let you know how it takes shape, when the rest of the hardware arives.
Dave - keep in touch, I want some updates on your theater as it takes full and center stage.
Thanks again,
Scott
