HT Input with DAC - PRIMALUNA DiaLogue Premium HP Integrated

Hello,

I use Roon's device volume control to control volume. I think that uses the volume control of my DAC (HoloAudio Spring 2). 

I am wondering if I should hook my DAC up to the "HT" input of the Prima Luna. Would this sound better? Does this bypass my gain tubes? Is this not recommended?
