I am currently looking to buy a multi amp

I HAVE RECENTLY PURCHASED SURROUND SPEAKERS (DYNAUDIO A-82, A 122C B&W REARS). I WANT TO PURCHASE A MULTI-CHANNEL AMP FOR UNDER $2000.00. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT THE ROTEL-1095, B&K REFERENCE 7250, A USED KRELL 500/5, AND ODYSSEY AMPLIFIER. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST AMP FOR THE MONEY?

You might want to send your amp to Musical Concepts to have it modded. It will be a much better amp afterwards.Crystal Claer throughout the spectrum with great dynamics.

I have 2 B&K's and I have had one modded and the other I shall have when I can afford to.Makes a world of difference.
Check out the Parasound 2205 which is 5 channel 220/ch. JOhn Curl designed. Brand new they can be had for $2k and come with a ten year warranty. Best bang for the buck. Parasound has the Halo amps now, so you can find good deals on the 2205. Blows the B&K away.
Here is one amp you NEED to hear! There is probably no better 5 channel amp (until the DreadNaught, Cal MCA-2500, or SIM 5 channel) on the planet.

The Earthquake Cinenova.

Preowned always less than $2,000, sometimes you can find new for $2,000!

for your system rotel will do just fine, krell 500/5 is about 2700 used aren't they?
I don't know what would be best for the money but I have a krell kav-500 in my system. They are great sounding amps for two channel as well as multichannel. 100 watts at 8 ohms and 200 watts at 4 ohms. I think all of those amps would be fine though as I have read good things about each of them and they are all very good companys and offer good service should you ever need it.
I'm not sure if this helps, but I'm running a B&K 7250 with Paradigm studio 100's. The sound is rich and full but I feel it's a little to soft for my taste. I'm also using MIT T 2 bi-wire which some say are a little warm. Maybe the amp/cable combo is the problem. I have heard great things about the Rotel 1095, and it has received some impressive reviews pro. and personal. Go to Yahoo and enter Rotel 1095 in the search box and it will pull up all the reviews on this unit. Good Luck, Chris
