Yeah, when you can finally take a break from all the wondering and upgrading and just sit and enjoy what you have, it sure is nice.
I have a friend who was heavy into this hobby in the '80s. But beginning a career as a college professor, getting married, then having a son pushed this hobby to the back, back burner much as yourself. He recently bought a new home and dug his McIntosh MC2255 out of his box and took it to a tech to have it brought up to spec. I'm gonna help him buy speakers soon. Hopefully, he'll be able to avoid the upgrade bug so common to us all and just enjoy the music like you!
