In Wall Speakers recommendations

I am under contract to buy a non custom new construction house.  My current system (Sopra 2 fronts and B&W 805's rears) will not work in the room and will unfortunately be forced to use in wall and in ceiling speakers.  I have never shopped them before.  In my brief research, I have found that Focal and B&W both make well reviewed in walls, along with JBL's and Golden Ear.  It will not be a dedicated music room and will not be sonically perfect.  It has 10 foot ceilings, glass sliding doors on one side wall and open to the kitchen and dining area in the rear so no close rear wall.  YUK, can anything work?  Thanks for your help.

Success with inwalls is nearly as much a function of how good a back box enclosure you can create as the speaker itself. Also because of the way inwalls acoustically load into a half space their LF lack the step response of a box speaker, so you may find EQ is necessary to get the sound quality you expect.

I have Focal inceiling 100 icw6 for surround in a 5.1.4 setup and am very happy. My 2 rears are cheapo Dayton 10" or 8" I don't remember.  I'm sitting 6ft away and movie like Dune or others I could hear the wind whistles or gun fires in the back. I think they deliver. My room is 13x13x9

Check out accessories 4 less dot com for the Focal. Bought Dayton directly fr their site.

Thanks for all your suggestions and also the on wall suggestions.  Am I right to assume that dollar for dollar, on walls will sound better than in walls?  I live in Boca Raton, FL, any suggestions as to where to shop this weekend?  Thanks

If you like the sound of the B&W's, get their in-wall ones, they also have a matching in-wall sub. A friend of mine has them with a McIntosh integrated and the set-up  sounds great. He does not have rear speakers.

Wisdom Audio is a cut above everything but not sure what their price points are — probably more than you wanna spend I’d guess.

Not sure what the quality cost spectrum is but I would like to be about $10K but could do more if needed.

Yeah, in that situation I’d be inclined to just get these.  They’re likely pretty much as good as everything else and will probably save you a bundle as they sell direct…
