Infinity Intermezzo 4.1T Towers.

Does anyone own or heard the Infinity Intermezzo 4.1t tower speakers?
They look very impressive, and there are some great close-out deals going on them.
I also read that they share alot of the technology as the top-of-the-line Infinity Preludes.
What are your impressions of these sonically?
What are there sonic strengths and weaknesses?
How do they compare with other speakers in their original [$5,000.00 per pair] price range?
Thank you for your responses.

Jcadwell, you should check your facts, the 3.5 inch mid range driver in the mts prelude and the intermezzo 4.1 are the same, here is the part # for both 3.5 inch mid range drivers I90GB90 you can go to infinity's web site and see for yourself, these mids have a manufacturing defect, the nickle coating on the neo magnets peels off and gets trapped between the pole piece and voice coil causing a scraping sound, follow this link to see the many problems people have had with this driver. http://forum.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/fr.pl?cspkr&1254069860
Old thread but thought I'd add that while there is a defect in the drivers they can be repaired. I had this done to one of my 3.5 " drivers with excellent results.
phildoc, could you please elaborate on how your 3.5" driver was repaired. One of my Prelude MTS towers has a midrange with the magnet delamination issue raising it's ugly head. Most of what I have read suggests they can't be repaired and need to be replaced. This offers some hope since locating drivers seems all but impossible.
Same here. I have a pair of Intermezzo 4.1t. I am curious if anyone else has had success with repair or replacement of these drivers. I would be happy to purchase used if anyone had one or more available. The center channel uses the same 3.5" driver.
