Integrated Amplifier Recommendations Needed

I have a pair of JBL L112 speakers in excellent condition, but I would like an integrated amplifier to drive them. The JBLs are fairly efficient, 89 dB @ 1 W/1 M, and the maximum recommended amplifier power is 300 watts. My room is 20X25 with 10-foot ceilings.

100 wpc would be adequate; what do you all recommend?  I want to stay under $2000, and used equipment is fine.

I listen to 80% jazz, from small groups to big bands.  The rest mixes classical, classic rock, Steely Dan, etc.

Best,

I always search by when listed, new 1st, to see new, perhaps rare opportunities

then I go back, and sort by price, high 1st, always see what is just over your budget, in case something awesome is just a bit more, I put in $2,300 max in your case

then limit the country, try to find something close enough to pick up.

.........................

once I find anything interesting, search that model or similar models, i.e. little brother, on google outside of hifishark and/or eBay

I looked all over hell to find my wife a 2005 tBird, closest one I found was 3 states away, my friend found one on Craig’s List 2 towns away, identical to the one that got totalled, best price, private, no dealer fees ......

sorry, I just caught your ’under $2,000' budget. some finds are over that, but interesting to know about, and sometimes little brother versions exist.

Tubes, consider a pair of dedicated mono-blocks,

or bridgeable stereo amps that can be run in MONO, you can see if one is enough, get the 2nd one if/when needed.

Musical Fidelity (don’t know anything about them)

same seller, 220 wpc, has DAC, MM and MC Phono

looks like one of the AUX is ready for HT, I PRESUME home theater bypass

Rotel Factory Refurb, 200 wpc, has MM Phono, DAC, 2 yr warranty, free shipping, 30 day returns, in Florida

listed today

where are you located?

finding used you can pick up let's you check it out and save cost and risk of shipping.

budget?

you say integrated, thus you do not have a preamp you love, correct?

tubes or SS?

@gkelly

Thank you!

I just updated it too.

I have been thinking about other components and the amplifier list is a great idea. The problem is, amplifiers are a much harder "taxonomy" for me, mainly because I am ignorant. I am also in the vintage/used world, I would think people tend to buy used amps more than used speakers and that is harder catalogue.

On the other hand, there are less amplifiers overall (I think) so maybe it would be a smaller project.  I will think about it for sure.

@grislybutter you have done such a great job on your speaker list! Just wondering if you have time for a another project? A integrated amplifier price guide would be good thanks just an idea.
